Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has expressed elation with his move to Hearts of Oak.
After several weeks of training with Samuel Boadu’s side, the 32-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Phobians.
On Sunday, Inkoom made his Hearts of Oak debut against his former employers and league leaders Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium.
In a technical shuffle by coach Samuel Boadu, he came on in the 63rd minute to replace midfielder Gladson Awako.
“I’m elated to join Accra Hearts of Oak,” Inkoom wrote on Twitter after the game.
“The journey began last Sunday when I made my debut in Kumasi and it was a great feeling.
“The results weren’t what we were expecting but we live to fight another day. Let’s all help to make the GPL a better one. Phobia!”
