Former Asante Kotoko defender Abdul Ganiyu set to join TP Mazembe

Former Asante Kotoko captain Ismail Abdul Ganiyu  is on the verge of completing a deal with the Congolese giants, TP Mazembe.

Ganiyu is currently without a club, having left Iraqi side Al-Talaba SC, just four months after joining them from  Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko.

According to a close source, all terms are agreed and the defender will be in Lubumbashi in the coming days to sign the expected two year-contract.

Ganiyu won the Ghana Premier League twice with Asante Kotoko and Wa All Stars now Legon Cities.
