#FootyTransfers: Braga, Young Boys and FC Twente line up for Enock Kwateng

Ghanaian-born defender Enock Kwateng has been linked with a move away from relegated FC Girondins Bordeaux.

The 25-year-old former FC Nantes right-back – with an estimated 3 million euros value – is under contract until June 2023 but is not expected to join the Bordeaux to Ligue 2 next season.

According to RMC Sport, Kwateng is coveted by Sporting Club de Braga who finished 4th in the Portuguese Liga last season.

Braga are reported to be ready to pay up to 1.5 million euros – which would be far from the valuation for the 2016 European U-19 Champion with France.

Swiss side BSC Young Boys and FC Twente (Netherlands) and some Ligue 1 teams have also reportedly inquired about Kwateng’s availability.

Enock Kwateng is coming out of a 2021/22 season during which he played 29 Ligue 1 matches and scored one goal.
