The Technical Directorate, in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES), will launch the Football4Girls project in the Upper East Region from Tuesday, October 29 to Thursday, October 31, 2024.
The participants are selected Basic Schools in the Upper Easst Region, including:
- Bolgatanga Municipal
- Wiaga – Builsa North District
- Sandema – Builsa North District
The Football4Girls initiative, launched in 2022, is a key component of the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) development program and women’s football strategy. The project aims to:
- Educate and instill confidence in girls to dispel misconceptions about playing football
- Grow grassroots football
- Nurture young talents
This initiative seeks to promote women’s football and empower girls through sports.
