The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that fixtures for the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League will be released on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
A full schedule covering all 180 matches will be published on the GFA’s official website, www.ghanafa.org, and shared across the association’s social media platforms. Each of the 20 participating clubs will play 18 matches during the campaign.
The season is scheduled to kick off from October 31 to November 3, 2025, with games across both the Northern and Southern Zones, before concluding on the weekend of April 24–27, 2026.
Defending champions Police Ladies will be aiming to retain their crown after a stellar 2024/25 campaign, but they face strong competition from former champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who are eager to reclaim their dominance.
This season also sees the introduction of four newly promoted clubs: Northern City Ladies FC and Ashtown Ladies in the Northern Zone, alongside Oak Ladies and Samartex Ladies in the Southern Zone. Their entry adds fresh rivalries and promises an extra layer of excitement to Ghana’s premier women’s football competition.
