Golden Kick head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson will not be joining Hearts of Oak as assistant coach after negotiations between the two sides broke down.

Talks had reportedly reached an advanced stage, but the deal fell through due to undisclosed reasons. Dreams FC are now frontrunners to land Hanson, with discussions said to be progressing well.

Hanson gained national attention after guiding Golden Kick to their first-ever FA Cup final, where they narrowly lost to Asante Kotoko.

His reputation for tactical discipline and developing young talent has made him a hot target for several top-flight clubs.
