FIFA Young Talent Course kicks off in Prampram for Ghanaian referees

The FIFA Male Young Talent Course begins Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Ghanaman Centre in Prampram, training 40 young referees from the GFA’s “Catch Them Young” program.

Running until July 29, the course features fitness drills, video analysis, and mini matches, aimed at sharpening key officiating skills like handball calls, offside decisions, and match control.

Referees will also receive lectures on physical conditioning to help maintain peak performance. The program is coordinated by GFA Referees Department head, Alex Kotey.
