The head coach of the Ghana Women’s U20 national team, Coach Yussif Basigi is gearing up for the tie against Senegal in the qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2024.
Ghana needs to overcome Senegal to secure qualification to the tournament in Columbia next year.
Ahead of the tie, Coach Yussif Basigi has invited 34 players to camp to begin preparations.
The players will begin camping on Monday, December 18, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
Salamatu Abdulai of Swieqi FC Matta and Jennifer Owusuwaa of Ampem Darkoa have earned a place in the squad.
If Ghana qualifies for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2024, this will be the seventh consecutive appearance at the biennial tournament.
