Forward Felix Afena Gyan has suffered an injury over the weekend in Cremonese 4-1 defeat to SSC Napoli in the Italian serie A game.
Afena-Gyan was subtituted in the 62nd minute at the Stadio Giovanni Zini.
The team doctors will confirm the number of days the young striker will be out after successful assessment.
Felix Afena Gyan joined Cremonese from AS Roma in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old is expected to make an injury return for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup in November.
