FC St. Pauli sign David Otto to fill in for departed Daniel-Kofi Kyereh

German Bundesliga 2 side, FC. St. Pauli has secured the services of striker David Otto to replace Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh.

The German lower-tier club after transferring the Black Stars attacker is now not as strong as it was last season.

Keen on having a chance to stay competitive next season, FC St. Pauli has signed German forward David Otto to strengthen its squad.

Speaking on the arrival of David Otto, St. Pauli head coach Timo Schultz says the club will hope to get the Ghanaian striker to get back to his best.

“And David is an important piece of the jigsaw for us again, a player who has already proven that he can play in the 2nd division, that he is a goal threat. And if we can reactivate it, that would be a good thing for everyone,” the FC St. Pauli coach said.

Last month, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh joined German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg. He is set to feature in the Uefa Europa League next season.
