FC Samatex have signed defender Kofi Agbesimah on a two-year deal.
The centre-back signed left Hearts of Oak and underwent a successful medical examination on Thursday evening.
“We are delighted to announce that experienced center-back Kofi Agbesimah has joined us permanently on a two-year deal from Accra Hearts of Oak.” The club confirmed on social media.
“His acquisition will ultimately invigorate the defense with unmatched experience and add a new dimension to the team.”
The former Bechem United captain is expected to play a key role for the Timbers in their upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
The Ghana Premier League winners will face Cameroonian champions Victoria United in the preliminary stage of the continental Interclub competition.
