Reigning Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex have appointed Christopher Ennin as their new head coach for the ongoing 2024/25 season,
He replaced Nurudeen Amadu who stepped down after leading the team to their first-ever Ghana Premier League title last season.
The club made the pronouncement on their facebook page and the detail of the contract is not disclosed
“Chris is our man 🤝
We are delighted to confirm that Christopher Ennin has agreed to become the club’s new Head Coach”
Ennin brings a wealth of experience, having worked with Berekum Chelsea and being previously linked to Hearts of Oak.
His most recent stint was with Moneni Pirates in the Premier League of Eswatini, where he resigned to take up the role at FC Samartex
Ennin’s appointment is a significant move for the team, which has struggled to defend their title, currently sitting in tenth place with 17 points after 14 matches.
