A star-studded lineup of FC Barcelona legends will clash with Ghanaian football icons on November 10, 2024, in a historic match.
The exciting encounter will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, featuring Barcelona legends such as Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, and Carles Puyol.
Ghana will also showcase its own legends, including Abedi Pele, Asamoah Gyan, Stephen Appiah, and others.
This marks the first time Ghana has hosted such an event with the Barcelona legends, although it is the fifth time the team has played on African soil.
Previously, they have competed in Mozambique, Morocco, Zambia, and the DR Congo.
The match is part of the Barca Legends project, launched in 2016, which aims to reunite former Barcelona stars for international matches to promote the club’s global presence and values.
While Barca Legends coach Albert Ferrer has yet to announce his squad, the game promises to be a nostalgic celebration of football, uniting global stars and local heroes for an unforgettable afternoon in Kumasi.
