Eight and 12th will meet in the Segunda Division this weekend as Andorra play hosts to Leganes at  Estadi Nacional, Andorra la Vella with both sides still giving it their all in hopes of getting into the playoff spots this campaign.

Andorra, a club owned by Gerard Pique, head into this game in eighth place in what has been a fairly commendable season for them in some regards.

They are not, however, shouting about too much right now with them only just cracking the top half of the table after a start to the season that saw them way deeper in the table.

Andorra have won less than 50% of their games so far in the league with just eight victories from 19 games. This has also seen them lose eight other games too, but with 15 goals conceded, they have one of the best defensive records in the league so far.

In fact, the club have a +5 goals difference, which is the same as Deportivo Alaves towards the top of the table. Andorra have also scored 20 times, which is the third-lowest record in the top half of the table after Huesca and Burgos.

The main aim for Andorra at the moment is winning games in succession. So far, despite winning eight games from 19 outings, they are yet to win more than three games on the spin and have only won consecutive games twice this campaign.

It’s the main reason they sit down in eight, and they also head into this game off the back of losing to in a row by a 1-0 scoreline.

Cartegena beat them 1-0 first up, before a 1-0 defeat to Huesca which sent them crashing further down the table and closer to the bottom half than they have been all season long.

As for Leganes, they are sitting in 12th right now in the table and have recently gone on an impressive unbeaten run to jump back up the league. Leganes drew 2-2 with Mirandes last time out after a 0-0 draw with Villarreal B.

A 1-0 victory over the impressive Granada three weeks ago and a 2-2 draw with Sporting Gijon, as well as wins over Ponferradina and Ibiza mean they have not lost since mid-August to Levante.

Leganes have also beaten Tenerife and drawn 0-0 with Racing in the league too within this impressive run.

Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
