Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is on the radar of Manchester United, according to reports in UK.
The Guardian journalist, Ed Aarons reports that the English Premier League heavyweights could make a move for the highly rated 18 year old if he impressed with the Black Stars at the 2022 World Cup.
When asked whether Fatawu Issahaku could join a Premier League club, Aarons told GIVEMESPORT: “I think Manchester United, eventually, in that Bruno Fernandes sort of role just behind the striker, scoring lots of goals.
“He had an amazing record in the Ghanaian league. He was playing men’s football very young and scored loads of goals in that number 10 position. He is a real name to watch.”
Fatawu is currently under a five-year contract with Portuguese club, Sporting Lisbon and has a staggering €60 million release clause.
Manchester United will also be closely monitoring the performances of compatriot Kamaldeen Sulemana at the global showpiece.
