The Ghana Football Association has officially announced the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League Team of the Season, as selected by former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.
This comes after the final round of league matches wrapped up on Sunday, June 8, with Bibiani Gold Stars clinching their first-ever league title after finishing the campaign with 63 points.
Gold Stars’ title-winning form is reflected in the squad, with their goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi named between the sticks.
He is protected by a back four featuring Medeama SC’s standout right-back Kamaradini Mamudu, Nations FC centre-back Razak Simpson, Kotoko’s reliable left-back Patrick Asiedu, and Kelvin Oppong, also of Gold Stars.
The midfield trio includes FC Samartex’s engine Lord Hilary Adabo, Hussein Mohammed of Hearts of Oak, and Heart of Lions’ creative force Ismael Addo.
Up front, Asante Kotoko’s Albert Amoah is joined by Nations FC’s Faisal Charwetey and Berekum Chelsea captain Stephen Amankona, who led his side with both goals and leadership.
