Manchester City youngster Farid Alfa-Ruprecht is on the verge of completing a move to German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
The 19-year-old winger, who hails from Nima in Ghana, is expected to sign a long-term contract worth around £5 million.
He has been with City’s youth setup and is now seeking first-team opportunities in Germany.
Leverkusen, who continue to invest in emerging talent, see the Ghanaian-German forward as a key addition for the future.
Talks between both clubs are believed to be at an advanced stage, with medicals expected soon.
The move could open the door for Alfa-Ruprecht to rise further in European football and possibly attract attention from the Ghana national team.
Alfa-Ruprecht has represented Germany at youth level but remains eligible to play for Ghana at the senior level.
