Abanga has been absent this season and Fabian told KickOffGhana.com doctors have revealed to the club the midfielder has “considerable damage to both knees”.
Fabian believes it could effectively rule one of his best players out for the season. “Doctors have told us he has considerable damage to both knees so it could be a long while before he plays again. I don’t think he will be able to play this season,” Fabian said.
Abanga’s problem compounds a bad injury situation for Fabian’s midfield that has already claimed Esme Mends. And Fabian is in no doubt it has contributed to the club’s poor start to the season.
