Exercise patience on trainers when clubs aren’t performing – Coach Bismark Kobi Mensah to fans

Bechem United FC’s Head Coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah, has appealed to football supporters to be more understanding and considerate towards coaches during periods of underperformance by their clubs.

Hearts of Oak and Bofoakwa Tano are the two side’s to have sacked their coaches for non-performances in the Ghana Premier League this season – predominantly as a result of fans impatience.

“Coaches are humans just like the footballers. When a team gets good results, supporters credit players, but when the team gets bad results, supporters blame coaches. Fans should exercise patience with trainers when clubs aren’t getting results,” Kobi said in an interview with Westgold Radio.

Mensah is currently leading Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League, with the team holding the 5th position with 20 points after playing 13 matches.
