Berekum Chelsea are set to bring on board Samuel Boadu as the club’s new head coach on a one-year contract with an option to extend, kickoffghana.com can exclusively report.
This strategic move, finalized on Monday evening, sees Boadu stepping into the leadership role following a mutually beneficial agreement with the club.
The appointment comes in the wake of Christopher Ennin’s exit, who parted ways with the Blues to join Hearts of Oak as an assistant coach.
An official announcement is expected by the club in the coming days.
Boadu’s coaching portfolio includes stints at Medeama and the Ghana U20 male team, which he led to victory at the Wafu Zone B Championship in Ivory Coast last year.
As the 2012 Ghanaian Champions aim to bolster their standings, they currently occupy the 6th position with 30 points from 19 matches in the 2023/24 season.
