Ex-Hearts of Oak star Dan Quaye heaps praise on Togbe Afede for infrastructural development, urges Kotoko and others to emulate

Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye has eulogized the club Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV for infrastructural development and has therefore called on other clubs including Kotoko to emulate.

The Phobians signed a contract with Turkish construction firm, Prefabex for the construction of the Pobiman Academy project last year.

The project has seen a massive improvement in the last few months after the club prioritized the development of its infrastructure”

“Our father Togbe Afede is doing a great job and he needs to be commended because he is developing the club and checking on the projects he is doing. It’s amazing and we are praying that he will live long and get wisdom like King Solomon to convince other dignitaries who can also help the club. He has done a great job and it has not happened in Ghana before. If it has happened I might mention Ashantigold but in terms of traditional clubs, it hasn’t happened before”

“I think the other big team can learn from them” he told Ghanasportspage.com

“Using Kotoko as a reference point, he said, as a starter, you have to follow the one who is already running. It is a good sign that Kotoko should follow because the name of these two teams is in the world more than the3 other clubs in Ghana but both are not having their stadia”

“They witnessed some when they moved to Sudan for preseason, all the clubs have their stadia. You have to mount your clubhouse, stadium, training pitches, abroad they have their equipment not for the state”

“You won’t spend a lot if you have your facility, I feel it will help the other clubs if they follow though some are doing it” he added.
