Ex-Ebusua Dwarfs coach Professor JK Mintah distances himself from Hearts job

Ex-Ebusua Dwarfs coach Professor JK Mintah has distanced himself from talk linking him with the Hearts of Oak job.

Hearts, who are battling the threat of relegation, have started their intention of filling the post after parting ways with Herbert Addo.

The club has been linked with a host of top coaches including ex-Berekum Chelsea coach Tony Lokko and Medeama trainer Tom Strand.

Strong reports also emerged this week that the club has initiated moves to sign former Dwarfs trainer Professor Mintah.

But the Black Stars psychologist has ruled himself out of the job.

“I don’t know anything about the Hearts of Oak job. I am still here at UCC, the distance is too much for me and I want to stay at UCC for some time.” he told Kasapa FM.

Hearts recorded an emphatic 4-0 win over Heart of Lions last Wednesday in their revival push.
