Ex-Black Stars deputy coach David Duncan takes charge of first Medeama SC training after inking one year deal

David Duncan has taken charge of his first training session as the head coach of Medeama SC.

The former Black Stars assistant coach was confirmed as the new manager for the Tarkwa-based club before the start of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

Duncan, who is a former Hearts of Oak gaffer signed a one-year deal with the club.

In the matchday 1 game against Legon Cities at the El-Wak Stadium, the experienced trainer was spotted in the stands as his side recorded a 1-0 win against the Royals.

Assistant coach, Umar Rabi was in the dugout over the weekend.

However, Duncan is expected to be in the dugout this weekend when the Yellow and Mauve host Real Tamale United at the Akoon Park in the matchday 2 games this weekend.

David Duncan has previously coached Sekondi Hasaacas,  Accra Great Olympics, Ashantigold S.C, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak.

Outside Ghana, David Duncan coached South African PSL side, Free State Stars.
