Ex-Heart Oak player Samuel Inkoom has jumped to the defense of Black Stars embattled defender Baba Rahman, entreating Ghanaians to have patience with him.
Rahman has come under an immense pressure from Ghanaians for his performance against Central African Republic.
“Everybody has a bad day. Sometimes let’s take for instance football into account,” Inkoom told ghanasportspage.com.
“Talking about Baba Rahman, he is young, he has every time to develop.
“I am just begging Ghanaians that we have to have time for such players”, he pleaded.
“Everybody has their own opinion, everybody has his own way of judging a player, everyone has his favourite but the most important thing for we Ghanaians is that we want the team (Black Stars) to progress”.
Baba has played 51 games for Ghana and has scored a goal from those outings.
