Everton are in advanced negotiations with Andre Ayew’s entourage over a possible return to the English Premier League.
The Ghanaian international is now a free agent after terminating his contract with Al-Sadd a few days ago- as a result, he will be able to negotiate a contract with the Toffees beyond tonight’s deadline.
The relegation-battlers are keen on the 33 year old who has Premier League experience having had previous stints with Swansea and West Ham.
He scored 12 goals in 34 appearances for Swansea in his first season and that prompted West Ham to pay £20m for his services in 2016.
But after netting just nine times for the Hammers, he made a deadline day return to Wales.
He also spent time at Turkish giants Fenerbahce before heading off to Qatar.
