Eric Bekoe wades into Franck Mbella

Ex-Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has woopingly joined the raging debate on the comparison between between legendary Ghana Premier League forward Ishmael Addo and Asante Kotoko striker Franck Etouga Mbella.

In recent weeks, there’s been heated debate on Social Media about the two players with some Kotoko fans comparing the Cameroonian forward to the 1999 Ghana U17 sensation.

Mbella is on a 21-goal haul in 28 games so far for Kotoko.

Addo on his part, won the Ghana Premier League goal-king title for 3 seasons on a bounce, netting 64 goals in 71 appearances in total.

The comparison has left drawn former Kotoko striker Bekoe, who also won the goal-king gong, into the debate.

“Stop comparing Frank Etouga Mbella to the legendary Ishmael Addo. Mbella doesn’t come close to the three times Ghana Premier League top scorer,” he told Accra-based Atinka FM.

Below is a list of accomplishment by Addo.
