Real Madrid have told Italian clubs they are not prepared to consider proposals for Brazilian forward Endrick this summer, despite renewed enquiries about the possibility of a loan move.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano said several Italian sides had contacted the Spanish club again in the past 24 to 48 hours to clarify Endrick’s situation.
“Speaking about the latest developments, there are things happening behind the scenes at Real Madrid because, in the last 24 to 48 hours, Italian clubs have contacted Real Madrid again to understand Endrick’s situation,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to Italy after finding his opportunities limited, and Roma have reportedly kept him on their shortlist of targets for a considerable period.
Romano added that the clubs making contact wanted to establish whether Real Madrid might be willing to allow Endrick to leave on loan, with the intention of opening negotiations and securing his services for the coming season.
“He has been on Roma’s shortlist of targets for a long time, and Italian clubs have contacted Real Madrid again to find out if there is any possibility of him leaving, because they want to start discussions and sign the player on loan,” Romano said.
However, Real Madrid’s response to those approaches has been described as unequivocal. The club has no intention of reviewing offers for Endrick during the current summer transfer window.
“Real Madrid’s answer to the Italian contacts was extremely clear: the club has no intention of considering offers for Endrick this summer,” Romano said.
The latest messages reaching Endrick and his representatives indicate that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, the club’s directors and manager Jose Mourinho are all opposed to the player’s departure.
“All the indications reaching Endrick and his agents confirm that president Florentino Perez, the club directors and manager Jose Mourinho do not want him to leave,” Romano added. “So this remains the position for now.”
That stance means Endrick is expected to remain at Real Madrid, despite the interest from Italy and the willingness of clubs there to explore a temporary transfer.
Romano’s comments suggest that the approaches have not led to formal negotiations, with Real Madrid instead presenting the same answer to each enquiry: Endrick is not available for a loan move this summer.
For now, the position communicated to the player and his representatives remains unchanged, with the club rejecting the possibility of his departure and Italian interest failing to alter Real Madrid’s plans.
