Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo has advised Hearts of Oak to “put a stop to radio fights” and focus on their impending CAF Inter-club competition.
The Phobians will represent Ghana in a next CAF Confederations Cup after winning the MTN FA CUP following a 2-1 win over Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium.
But off-pitch issues are increasingly growing with Board Member,Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe attacking the playing body and the technical team despite their trophy triumph.
The recent backlash from the Phobia supporters in addition to spiky response from former team manager, W.O Tandoh has escalated the situation.
“Hearts of Oak should concentrate on what is ahead of them and stop the radio fight because it may derail their attention from proper preparation for the CAF Confederation Cup,”
“They should (instead) put things together and prepare for the task ahead of them,” Mohammed Polo said on Otec FM.
The Confederation Cup registration period runs from August 1-15, with the opening round of games scheduled for the weekend of September 9.
