FC Samartex secured the coveted Champion of Champions title with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Nsoatreman FC on Saturday at the T&A Stadium in Tarkwa.

The decisive moment came in the 80th minute when Emmanuel Mamah’s header found the back of the net to seal the win.

The Champion of Champions serves as the curtain-raiser for the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season, which kicks off on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Both FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC will represent Ghana in the CAF inter-club competitions, with both clubs set to play in the second round of the preliminary stage.

Samartex will clash with Raja Athletic Club in the Champions League, while Nsoatreman will face CS Constantine in the Confederation Cup.
