Emmanuel Keyekeh named Man of the Match after scoring screamer for Samartex in win over Aduana

FC Samartex midfielder, Emmanuel Keyekeh, was named Man of the Match after his impressive performance in their big win over Aduana FC on Monday afternoon in match week 18 of the Ghana Premier League.

The former Asante Kotoko scored a screamer as they emerged 2-1 winners over the Fire boys at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro.

Keyekeh’s goal proved the most important of the match as it was the winner. Throughout the season, his experience has been key for Samartex.

Just eight minutes into the game, Baba Hamadu Musa struck the opening goal for the visitors at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro.

Keyekeh then scored a spectacular second goal for Nurudeen Amadu’s side 12 minutes after the game’s opener.

Coach Yaw Acheampong’s side tried to mount a fight back late in the game when they reduced the deficit to one following Sampson Cobbinah’s 76th minute goal to make it 2-1.

Samartex head on to claim the win.

Aduana FC will next be in action in two weeks after their match week 19 fixture against Medeama is postponed because of their involvement in the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, Samartex will take on Nations FC at home next Sunday in their week 19 fixture.
