Former Asante Kotoko captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi has refused to ruled out a return to the club in the future.
Gyamfi joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2016 before severing ties with them in 2021 to face another challenge at Aduana Stars.
He was in the stands to watch Asante Kotoko’s CAF Champions League clash with RC Kadiogo who ultimately ended their participation on the African terrain after a 3-1 victory on penalties.
Speaking on Kessben TV after the game, Gyamfi said: “It was a painful defeat. I was at the stadium because Kotoko is my former team and they represented Ghana in Africa. They couldn’t work with me, but I support the team. You’ll never know if I will make a return” He said.
Asante Kotoko were involved in a 1-1 stalemate with rivals Hearts of Oak in their first match of the season in the Ghana Premier League.
