Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng netted a goal in Rio Ave 3-2 defeat to Boavista in the Portuguese League on Saturday.
Goals from Yusupha Njie, Bruno Lourenço, and Ricardo Mangas did the damage before Hernâni pulled one.
Boateng came on to replace Hernâni in the 75th minute and netted 10 minutes later to set up a nervy end to the match.
The striker now has five goals in 24 league appearances this season.
