Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo has pointed to his side’s wastefulness in front of goal as the main reason behind their poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League.
Aidoo, who took over the team last month following the resignation of two previous coaches, is tasked with steering the club away from the relegation zone and restoring their competitiveness.
Speaking ahead of their Week 14 clash with Bechem United, the coach reflected on the defeat to Swedru All Blacks and insisted his players remain focused despite the setback.
According to him, the team’s problems are not about effort, but rather their failure to convert chances when it matters most.
“We are on a mission, and it’s not over until it’s over. We have lost, but we have not given up. We will keep working until the mission is accomplished,” Aidoo said in an interview with Eleven Wonders TV.
He also revealed that the team has intensified work on finishing and set-piece routines during training this week, hoping the extra work will reflect in their upcoming matches.
Eleven Wonders will face Bechem United on Sunday as they look to revive their Premier League campaign.
