Qarabag forward Emmanuel Addai is keeping faith that a Black Stars call-up will come, emphasizing his desire to represent Ghana.
“No, I haven’t had any contact yet [with the Black Stars],” he told 3Sports. “But I believe they’ve seen my performances. Everything happens in God’s time. I’m not in a hurry.”
Addai’s passion for Ghana drives him, wanting to bring joy to his people. “I really want to represent Ghana because I love my country. I grew up watching Ghana lose finals, and I want to help bring joy to my people.”
The youngster hopes to make a meaningful impact, saying “I want to be remembered not just for playing abroad but for doing something meaningful for Ghana because I really love Ghana.”
Addai’s side were knocked out of the Champions League after losing 9-3 to Newcastle on aggregate.
