Bechem United made a bold statement in the Ghana Premier League with a resounding 3-0 win against table leaders Heart of Lions on Sunday.
The Hunter club took an early lead in the 43rd minute thanks to Darlvin Yeboah’s goal, followed by Emmanuel Abban’s strike just two minutes later, ending the first half 2-0 in the home side.
In the second half, Bechem United continued to dominate, with Emmanuel Abban netting his second goal of the day in the 82nd minute, securing a convincing 3-0 win.
Despite the defeat, Heart of Lions maintained their spot at the top of the league table with 30 points, while Bechem United moved up to 4th place with 29 points.
