Emir of Qatar wants Xavi to coach PSG in the future

French giants Paris Saint Germain is already planning for the future with their owner thought to be angling Xavi Hernandes to be their next manager.

The club is said to be in the market for a new manager as they don’t think Mauricio Pochettino is the man to take them to the next level after failing in the Champions League this season despite luring Lionel Messi to the French capital.

French journalist Romain Molina reports that the Emir of Qatar was not pleased when Xavi left Al Sadd. He wanted Zidane to replace Pochettino in the team but with the Frenchman hesitant to make such a move, his attention has been turned to Xavi.

The Parisien club is reportedly aware that it would be impossible to bring the Xavi right now, but they want the Catalan to manage PSG in the future. Xavi has managed Al Sadd for 91 games, winning 62 of them. At Barcelona, he holds a similar record, managing 36 games while winning 20, drawing 9, and losing 7.

PSG has a tendency of robbing Barca of their best assets starting with Neymar in 2017 before turning to Messi last season.
