Elvis Manu scores for Botev Plovdiv against Slavia Sofia

Ghana’s Elvis Manu scored for Botev Plovdiv against Slavia Sofia at home on Friday evening.

With a stunning shot, the former Ludogorets attacker scored his team’s lone goal in the Bulgarian First Professional League.

After 36 minutes of play, James Eto’o set up the Ghana striker to score the game-winning goal inside the first half as the Yellow and Blacks grabbed a crucial win.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian attacker has three goals and two assists in seven Bulgarian First Professional League games this season.

Manu returned to Bulgaria in August 2022 to sign a two-year contract with Botev Plovdiv.

Botev Plovdiv is 9th on the league table, they will play Levski Sofia away in their next game.
