French-Ghanaian midfielder Edwin Quarshie scored a crucial goal for Le Mans in their 3-3 draw against Guingamp in the French Ligue 2.
Quarshie, who has been with Le Mans since 2022, played 67 minutes and significantly contributed to his team’s performance.
He netted the opening goal in the 18th minute, giving Le Mans an early lead. Anthony Ribelin doubled the advantage just before halftime.
However, Guingamp staged a dramatic comeback, equalizing in stoppage time through Louis Mafouta before William Harhouz scored a late equalizer to secure a draw for Le Mans.
Quarshie’s goal was his first of the season, and it helped Le Mans earn a point in a thrilling match.
With his contract running until 2027, Quarshie has shown promising form, helping his team in the 2025/26 Ligue 2 campaign.
