Edinson Cavani is set to depart Manchester United this summer, interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed.
The Uruguay international will make his last appearance on Sunday as Man United play away to Crystal Palace.
With Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford among those ruled out of action on the last day of Premier League action, Cavani has been given the nod to lead the line.
“It would be good to finish this season with a good game, three points, and I’m pretty sure the team sees it the same way,” Rangnick revealed to MUTV before kick-off in south London.
“Out of our starting XI, there will be 10, apart from Edi Cavani, who will still be playing for this club next season.
“I presume they’d much rather play in the Europa League than the Conference League.”
A win will ensure United finish sixth on the standings, therefore qualifying for Europa League next season.
