Ghanaian-born England forward Eddie Nketiah bagged a brace as Premier League leaders Arsenal came from behind to secure a dramatic 3-2 win over Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford fired United into an early lead with a thunderous strike from range but Eddie Nketiah quickly headed the hosts back onto level terms after ghosting in at the back post.
The goal came from a corner which was given away after Wan-Bissaka and David de Gea attempted to play their way out from the back under pressure.
Nketiah’s equaliser ensured the two sides headed in level at the break but a long-range thunderbolt from Bukayo Saka was enough to nudge Arsenal into a 2-1 lead in the 53rd minute.
United weren’t behind for long, though, and restored parity following an error from Aaron Ramsdale, who punched a corner directly into the path of former Gunners target Lisandro Martinez.
With time running out, it was Nketiah who stabbed home his second goal of the game to pinch a priceless win for the Gunners.
Eddie Nketiah now has 4 goals in 17 league outings for Arsenal this campaign.
Compatriot Thomas Partey also played full throttle for the Gunners.
