Ghan’s MTN FA Cup holders Dreams FC are set to pocket $750,000 after reaching the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Still Believe lads secured semi-final spot after beating Stade Malien de Bamako 3-2 on aggregate in the quarterfinals.
A shocking 2-1 away win and a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday aided the Ghanaian side the great feat since Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in 2004 to reach the semi-finals.
After booking the semi final spot Dreams FC will clash with Zamalek at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, April 21 before the second leg at Baba Yara Sports Stadium exactly a week later.
The winner after the two legs will play either defending champions USM Algers of Algeria or two-time champions RS Berkane of Morocco.
