Ghanaian side, Dreams Football Club will face off with either FC Zamalek or Future FC in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The team from Dawu is Ghana’s only remaining representative in any of the two CAF inter-club competitions this season.

At the end of the club’s two-legged tie against Stade Malien, in the quarter-finals, Dream FC are through to the semi-finals.

The team won the tie 3-2 on aggregate after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the team from Mali in the second leg on Sunday evening.

Dreams become the first Ghanaian side to reach the semis of the CAF Confederation Cup, since Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko did so back in 2005, in the maiden edition of the competition.

After reaching the last-four stage, Dreams FC must now prepare to face the winner of the quarter-final tie between Egyptian sides Zamalek FC and Future FC.

The second leg of the tie is currently ongoing and is tied at 2-2.
