Dreams FC boosted their survival hopes in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after securing an impressive 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday.

The home side started brightly and were rewarded in the 20th minute when Aminu Adams found the net, giving Winfred Dormon’s men a deserved lead heading into the interval.

Dreams returned from the break with renewed intensity and doubled their advantage ten minutes into the second half through Razak Salifu. The pressure continued, and in the 72nd minute, in-form forward Seidu Suraj added a third to put the game firmly beyond Chelsea.

Berekum Chelsea managed to reduce the deficit late on, with Patrick Kofi Ansu scoring in the 80th minute, but it proved little more than a consolation as Dreams held on comfortably.

The result lifts Dreams FC out of the relegation zone and up to 12th place on 17 points, marking back-to-back home wins for the Dawu-based club. Chelsea, meanwhile, slip back into the bottom three and will be hoping for a quick response.

Dreams FC will next face a tough test away from home against defending champions Bibiani GoldStars, while Berekum Chelsea turn their attention to a crucial clash with bottom-placed Eleven Wonders.
