Dreams FC coach Karim Zito has emphasized that his team will not underestimate Skyy FC when they face off in the semifinals of the Ghana FA Cup this Saturday in Kumasi.

Despite Skyy FC being a Division One League team, Zito believes that they cannot be taken lightly as many Premier League teams often move to such teams for playing time.

Dreams FC have played against strong opponents such as Asekem FC and Liberty Professionals to reach the semifinals, and Zito believes that the intensity and approach used in those matches will not differ for this match.

“Before reaching the semifinals, we played Asekem FC and Liberty Professionals which are a very good side. So, the intensity and the approach we used against those two teams won’t be different”

“We don’t see Skyy FC as a Division One team. sometimes, many of the Premier League teams move to those teams for playing time which helps them a lot. We didn’t reach here because we are Dreams FC neither Skyy FC, we played with so many teams before reaching this stage”

The coach has acknowledged that the FA Cup is not an easy competition and is working hard to ensure his team is well-prepared for the game.

“It tells you the FA Cup is not an easy competition. We are working towards the game and we will go into the game with all seriousness”

Dreams FC’s inconsistency in the Ghana Premier League has been a concern, with the team currently placed 14th on the table with 38 points after 30 games. Despite this, Zito remains focused on the upcoming match and is determined to see his team advance to the finals of the competition.
