Board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has appealed to fans to exercise patience with head coach Aboubakar Ouattara amid the team’s disappointing start to the Ghana Premier League.
Ouattara faces intense pressure after consecutive losses to Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions, sparking demands for his dismissal.
However, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe believes the coach deserves more time, drawing parallels with Manchester United’s situation.
“I am not worried about this [the team’s current form]. All I will tell the supporters is that they should just take their time,” he said in an interview with Angel Sports.
“We are building a team and when we are building a team, it takes some time to build a team.
“Look at what is happening to Manchester United. They are losing matches but you can see he [Erik ten Hag] is building a team and I want us to go that tangent.”
Hearts of Oak currently sit at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table after two games and hope to turn things around in their next match against Bechem United.
