Former Asante Kotoko Board chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei has settled the fine imposed on the club by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee, kickoffghana.com can exclusively report.
The Porcupines were sanctioned to pay an amount of GHC 80,000 for act of misconduct by fans during a league match against Nations FC at the Dr. Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi.
The fans throw bottles of water and destroyed stadium seats after a penalty was against them.
It is understood the said amount had been paid to the FA on Thursday afternoon.
Dr. Kyei served as the board chairman of the club in 2020 during which the Porcupines won the Premier League as well as participated in Africa.
