Dr. Kwame Kyei sends message to Asante Kotoko fans after vandalism in Abrankese

President of Nations FC Dr. Kwame Kyei has implored Asante Kotoko fans to comport themselves in subsequent games after the vandalism at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The Porcupine Warriors fans allegedly damaged seats of the venue following a penalty award to Nations which Diarra converted to level the score and ultimately secure a point for the home side.

The match had to be temporarily halted as fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the penalty call.

“I am begging the fans to comport themselves at stadium,” The former Kotoko board chairman said on Light Fm as monitored by kickoffghana.com

“We will repair the seats because it our own property. I wish we stay calm at match venues even when we disagree with some decisions.

“I know few people caused the problem but we will say all Kotoko SC fans which doesn’t speak well about us.” He added.

The Ghana Football Association is yet to react to the disturbances with other chaotic events happening in Dorma and Tamale.
