Discard reports linking David Abagna to other clubs – Real Tamale United

Ghana Premier League club Real Tamale United have told the general public and their fans to discard all reports linking attacker David Abgana to clubs.

The reports in the local media stated that Hearts are keen on landing the Black Galaxies midfielder in the ongoing transfer window as they seek to strengthen their squad.

The reports also added that a first offer was rejected and Hearts of Oak submitted a second bid of around GHC150,000 to secure the services of the in-demand midfielder.

The Tamale-based club issued a press statement today 17th January 2023 on their official Facebook page to rubbish the claims.

The statement reads: “It has come to our notice, about numerous speculations linking our Skipper, David Abagna Sandan to other clubs.
We as management of the club wish to inform our supporters and the general public to discard such information and speculations,”

“We entreat the media to use their platform to support our Black Galaxies as they’re far away in Algeria and allow the player to have full concentration on his current national assignment in the ongoing CHAN 2022 tournament.
Thank you.”

The midfielder has been impressive since joining the Pride of the North from Ashantigold two seasons ago.

David Abagna is currently with the Black Galaxies team who are competing in the 2023 CHAN tournament in Algeria.

They lost 2-1 to debutants Madagascar on Sunday night.
