New Hearts of Oak boss Didi Dramani was spotted at the club’s training facility, Kpobiman, on Monday after he was confirmed as head coach over the weekend.
Dramani signed a two-year deal with the club, taking over the reins from Aboubakar Ouattara, who joined the club in February 2023.
As part of a technical restructuring, erstwhile Hearts of Oak coach Ouattara has been reassigned as the club’s special advisor to the Board of Directors while Basake Holy Stars’ coach, Abdulai Gazale, together with Golden Kick coach Parker Hanson, are being actively pursued by the Phobians to occupy the assistant coach roles.
Hearts of Oak finished in the top four of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League and are looking to build on it by revamping their technical and playing body.
Despite rumours suggesting the Phobians have been handed a transfer ban, which prevents them from signing players this summer, PRO of the club, Opare Addo, has revealed the team is working to resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, Dramani was spotted with Hearts of Oak star forward Hamza Issah on his first visit to the famed Kpobiman.
