Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has explained why his side is determined to overcome Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

The two giants of Ghanaian football will lock horns on Sunday, February 15, in a Week 22 fixture of the 2025/26 league campaign — a match widely regarded as the season’s biggest domestic showdown.

Speaking in his pre-match interview, Dramani assured supporters of his team’s readiness for the Super Clash, stressing that the Phobians are focused on securing all three points to maintain pressure on the league leaders, Aduana Football Club.

“Mentally, matches involving Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are devoid of the standard. Everybody knows the importance of it. We want to keep the pressure on the league leaders, so the points at stake are important to us. We are very focused in terms of what to do in order to achieve the standard of getting the three points,” Dramani said in an interview with Hearts TV.

The much-anticipated Super Clash is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m. at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with both sides separated by just a single point on the league table.

With pride, momentum, and title ambitions all on the line, the derby promises intensity as each club pushes for a victory that could significantly shape the remainder of their campaign.
